Freddy Lupin comes from an ancient and noble family of Werefolk
This is his family’s crest – it means Loyalty is strength.
His ancestor, Sir Rathbone de Lupinne’s shield was painted with this black wolf on a red background when he won the Battle of Farfang in 1396.
Sir Rathbone is the Number One Greatest Werewolf Hero EVER – and Freddy wants to be a wolf to be proud of.

Freddy lives in Farfang Castle, the ancient home of his Werepack. It is a castle in England in the centre of a forest. It has high gates and a moat to keep out nosey visitors.
I love castles and one day it is my dream of living in one – just a little one, I’m not so greedy.
This is Caernarfon Castle in Wales - my mum actually lives inside the castle walls! How fun is that?

She has a little hotel there.
When I was writing about Farfang, I had two Castles in my mind –one was Haddon Hall, in Derbyshire, my favourite place in the world And the other Bodiam – check them out.
